About Our Practice

Dr. Lais

Dr. Randy Lais has a reputation as someone who makes his patients feel special and puts them at ease with his understanding, patience, and commitment to listening to their desires and concerns from the very start. He has a relaxed and pleasant disposition and a desire to do the absolute best for each patient he serves. He has a wonderful chair side manner and patients are comforted when hearing him hum to the soothing music while he works. Dr. Lais truly cares about his patients and their outcomes. He has a well-trained staff of caring individuals that work together to provide a pleasant experience for their patients. He is excited about his work and is a perfectionist with an attention to detail in order to achieve the exciting outcomes. With over 25 years of knowledge and experience, he continues to be passionate about perfecting his craft and helping others.

After having a very successful practice in Missouri for over two decades, Dr. Lais moved his practice to Northwest Arkansas to be closer to his new home in Rogers and to work more closely with the Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy. This is a group of like minded professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive dentistry on highest levels. Dr. Lais has been working with AIDT for over 12 years and enjoys sharing his knowledge of dentistry with community groups.

He and his wife Jackie, a professional photographer, have lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1996. In his spare time Dr. Lais enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Jackie Lais

Community Outreach Director

Jackie’s primary responsibilities include all areas of public relations including overseeing charity functions, coordinating events, and keeping up with the latest technologies for patient comfort and satisfaction.  Jackie was raised in Joplin and she and Randy moved to the Rogers area in 1996.  Jackie’s true passion is photography and she loves capturing memories of her grandchildren and her family.  Jackie enjoys cooking, reading, and her 2 dogs Madison and Macie.

Christie

Registered, Licensed Dental Hygienist

Christie’s primary responsibilities include gathering initial information for examination such as radiographic and photographic images, periodontal exams and oral cancer screenings. She treats gum disease and provides professional cleanings. She also provides oral hygiene instruction for optimal plaque control and other preventative dental care. Christie is our tooth whitening specialist and has been with Dr. Lais for over six years.

Christie is a Northwest Arkansas native originally from Siloam Springs. After high school she served in the Air Force for eight years where she was trained in emergency medical technology (Medic). She received her dental hygienist education and training at Missouri Southern State University where she graduated at the top of her class. She is an avid sports fan and has two children; Jonathon plays the trombone and Cady is in a selective all-girls chorus.

Hobbies: I am a sports fan, primarily baseball and football. We also enjoy movies, books, miniature golf, swimming, go carts, and exploring parks and hiking trails.

My experience working with Dr. Lais: “What impresses me about Dr. Lais’ philosophy is the importance of allowing the time to fully communicate with each patient and guide them toward better oral health. In other offices I’ve worked, enough time was no allotted to accomplish this.”

David

Registered Dental Assistant

David’s primary responsibility is to prepare for and assist Dr. Lais in each dental procedure, ensuring that you are comfortable and at ease during your dental experience. He has been involved in dentistry for nine years and has eighteen years of experience in customer service. David has been practicing with Dr. Lais for four years.

David, his wife Misty, and son Ethan are natives of Northwest Arkansas. They enjoy outdoor activities together, such as camping, fishing, bike riding, baseball and motor sports.

Hobbies: Digital audio editing and restoration, singing, and poker. Most importantly, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my son.

My experience working with Dr. Lais: “Dr. Lais has opened my eyes to the idea that helping each individual patient achieve lasting dental health is more important than trying to see a large number of patients each day. I enjoy working for a dentist whose genuine passion is to strive to increase your quality of dental health to levels that some might think is unattainable.”

Lisa

Registered, Licensed Dental Hygienist

Lisa’s primary responsibilities include gathering initial information for examination such as radiographic and photographic images, periodontal exams and oral cancer screenings. She treats gum disease and provides professional cleanings. She also provides oral hygiene instruction for optimal plaque control and other preventative dental care. Lisa’s years of experience in a comprehensive dental office have granted her experience in the latest technology of teeth whitening, periodontal disease laser therapy, as well as advanced techniques in gum disease treatment. Lisa has had extensive Continued Education throughout her 10 years as a dental hygienist. Lisa has worked for Dr. Lais for many years originally as a dental assistant and completed her degree at Missouri Southern State University and became a licensed Dental Hygienist.

Lisa grew up in Joplin, MO and really enjoys Rogers, AR. Lisa has been married for many years to husband Shane and they have 2 children, Taylah and Ty.

Lisa’s hobbies include Zumba, Traveling, Sports, Spending time with her family, and she is an avid reader.

My experience with Dr. Lais: “I am so fortunate to have worked for Dr. Lais so many years. He is such an amazing dentist and person. I have been blessed to see him transform his practice into the “dream practice” he has always wanted. Guanica

Guanica and her husband Ed have been residents of NWA since 1999. With a bachelor’s degree in business and a background in accounting, she has enjoyed combining her skill sets with an involvement in the management of dentistry for the past 15 years. She enjoys being a part of a practice where customer service and education are at the core of the practice.

A Native of Tennessee, Guanica has found NWA to be a great family place. She and Ed are the proud parents of three young adults, Edward III, Joshua and Anica.

Danielle Seay 

Registered Dental Assistant

Danielle’s primary responsibility is to to prepare for and assist Dr. Lais in each dental procedure, ensuring that you are comfortable and at ease during your dental experience.  She has been with Dr. Lais over a year and has been in dentistry for 4 years.  Danielle is from the Neosho area. She received her RDA training at FTC at MSSU in Joplin, MO in 2008 and recently moved to NWA.  Danielle and her husband Greg have been married just over two years.  They enjoy baseball, golfing and date nights.  They also love spending time with their families, dog, Koda, and nephew Wrigley.

Hobbies: Scrapbooking, swimming, DIY, movies, nature walks and church events.  They are huge cubs fans.

My experience with Dr. Lais: “I knew Dr. Lais was a one of a kind dentist even before working with him.  The one patient at a time philosophy really intrigued me to want to be a part of his team.  I have learned more from him in the past year then I have in my four years of dentistry.  I love the way he cares for his patients and look forward to many more years here.”

Olivia

Registered Dental Assistant

Olivia’s primary responsibility is to prepare for and assist Dr. Lais in each dental procedure, ensuring that every patient is comfortable and at ease during each appointment. She has been involved in dentistry for five years and started with Dr. Lais in 2012.

According to Olivia the most rewarding part of her job is helping patients and seeing how happy they are with the quality of work Dr. Lais provides.

My experience working with Dr. Lais: “Dr. Lais is focused on the comfort and function of every patient rather than being focused on insurance. He helps educate each patient on their oral health to aid them in choosing the best options.”
