Analgesia is safe and effective. It is very beneficial in minimizing gagging as well. It works rapidly as it reaches the brain within 20 seconds. Typically, within 2-3 minutes its relaxation and pain killing properties begin to take effect. These effects are completely gone within minutes of the gas being turned off after your procedure. This allows patients to relax during their treatment, and resume normal activities after their appointment.
