Are Veneers for You?

Veneers can help a wide variety of patients with a multitude of problems. Most often, veneers are used for discolored teeth, teeth that are worn down, broken or chipped teeth, irregularly shaped teeth, or even to fill gaps in between teeth.

Veneers are very advantageous to many patients. Veneers provide a natural appearance, so no one will be able to tell you have them. Generally, gums tissue tolerates the porcelain material well. Additionally, the porcelain is more stain resistant than materials used in the past. They will also maintain their shine, brilliance, and translucency because the composite is a porcelain material that is not going to change over time.

It is important to address the underlying issue before choosing veneers. At Lais Dentistry one of our goals is to create beautiful smiles, but more importantly we focus on getting and maintaining a healthy mouth first.
